Grade Three / Four

Class Information

STUDENT TEACHERS 

We welcome student teachers Miss Lovell and Mr Artavilla form Latrobe University for weeks 5 and 6. Miss Lovell is working in 3/4SD and Mr Artavilla in 3/4DW.     

GRADE 4 CAMP IS FINALLY HAPPENING!! 

We are all very excited and can’t wait!  Last week students received a copy of the things to take to camp. Lunch for the first day will need to go in a separate bag (not cases), therefore students can bring a day backpack or school bag.   

 

Remember -   

IMPORTANT -  ANY MEDICATION SENT WITH STUDENTS ON CAMP, MUST HAVE A MEDICAL AUTHORITY FORM ATTACHED AND SIGNED BY A DOCTOR OR PHARMASIST.   The Medical forms can be collected from your child's teacher or the office. Medications need to be handed in before 9:00am on Thursday 20th.

  • We catch a bus from school to the train station

CLASS MEALS 

The return of the class meals was a great way to catch up with families and for you to enjoy a meal with your child at school.  I’m sure you would agree.........Mrs B’s sticky date pudding is always a winner!

SWIMMING PROGRAM

We are pleased to advise that all students from Prep to Grade 6 will participate in swimming lessons during Term 3. 

 

Swimming Lesson Dates 

  • Thursday 27 August (Week 7) 
  • Thursday 3 September (Week 8) 
  • Thursday 10 September (Week 9) 
  • Thursday 17th September (Week 10) 

 

Lesson Times 

  • 9:30am – 3/4LR & 3/4DW  (bus leaves at 9:00) 
  • 10:10am – 3/4SD  (bus leaves at 9:30) 

 

Swimming lessons provide students with valuable water safety skills while helping to build confidence and enjoyment in the water. 

Please ensure your child brings: 

  • Bathers 
  • Towel 
  • Goggles (optional) 
  • A plastic bag for wet clothing
