From the Principal

Dear Families and Members of the St Liborius Community,
BULLYING NO WAY WEEK
This week marks Bullying No Way Week within our school community. At St Liborius, we are committed to ensuring a school environment that is safe, supportive and inclusive for all students. Throughout the week, students have participated in a range of activities promoting the importance of treating one another with dignity and respect, learning how to navigate disagreements positively, and understanding what to do when they do not feel safe.
Creating a culture where every child feels valued and supported is a shared responsibility. Together, we can help ensure a safe and positive school experience for all. Thank you to our families for partnering with us in this important work.
FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Whole School Mass celebrating the Feast of the Assumption on Friday. While the feast day itself fell on Saturday, we gathered as a school community to honour this significant occasion.
The Feast of the Assumption reminds us of our call to follow Mary's example by listening attentively and saying "yes" to the opportunities God places before us, even when they may be disguised as challenges or unexpected pathways. It was wonderful to come together in prayer and celebration as a faith-filled community.
CATHOLIC EDUCATION SCHOOL ENGAGEMENT SURVEY (CESSES)
This week our school commenced the Catholic Education School Engagement Survey (CESSES). A number of families have been randomly selected to participate, and we warmly encourage those invited to complete the survey. Your feedback helps us celebrate our strengths and identify opportunities for continued growth and improvement.
As always, if there is specific feedback you would like to provide, we welcome you to contact me or any member of the leadership team for a conversation. We greatly value the partnership we share with our families.
BEST WISHES TO MS ALEX BINNS
This week also marks a special milestone for Ms Alex Binns, who is commencing maternity leave. We wish Alex and Callum every blessing as they begin this exciting new chapter and prepare to welcome their newest family member.
DONUTS FOR DADS
Finally, please save the date for our much-loved Donuts for Dads celebration on Friday 4 September. We would love to welcome all fathers, grandfathers and special father figures to join us for this special event. Further details will be shared soon, and we look forward to celebrating with you.
Kind regards,
Alannah Darmody
