Parent Payments for 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
During a recent School Council review of our approach to providing book-packs, we observed that a significant number of families are choosing not to take up the invitation to pay for these, leaving the school to absorb those costs.
After considering the Department of Education’s Parent Payments Policy, School Council has resolved to adopt a new approach for 2026 onwards for how book-packs are provided.
Today, all families will receive a booklist via XUNO specific to their child/ren's year level as in past years. For 2026, families who choose to purchase a book-pack may do so via Paperchase and this will be delivered to your house rather than to school. The school will continue to invite voluntary Curriculum Contributions and Other Contributions in line with Department policy.
Please note:
Purchasing the book pack is entirely optional. Families may either order through Paperchase or purchase the same items independently using the booklist provided.
Students will need these personal stationery and classroom items for their learning, so we ask that all families ensure their child is equipped with the required materials at the start of the school year.
The school will continue to provide all items and resources essential for instruction under the Victorian Curriculum, in accordance with the Department’s Parent Payments Policy.
We believe this change provides families with greater flexibility and ensures that school funds are directed toward resources and programs that benefit all students.
