Wellbeing / SWPBS
In preparation for Grade 6 next year, we will be learning about:
-situations when it is important to be an upstander.
-strategies and tools to be an upstander and a positive role model.
Literacy
Over the next two weeks, we will be finishing our novel study on the text 'Convict Boy.' This unit will conclude with assessments to see the growth in students' reading comprehension, and writing skills. The students have been learning about the structure and language devices of informative texts.

-Writing survey questions for data collection.
-Collecting large-scale categorical data.
-Creating column graphs with non-unit scales.
-Choosing appropriate data displays and justifying our choices.
