Tensions were high as the competition entered the arena and set the scene for the ultimate showdown! Staff won the bragging rights for the next twelve months with a huge defeat over the students. A huge congratulations to all the students and staff who gave it their all! It's no easy feat!
Sporting Colours Day
R U OK? Day
On Thursday last week, across Australia, people paused to connect, reflect and ask "are you okay?”
What started as one day of action has grown into a year-round movement, thanks to communities like ours, who continue to share the R U OK? message and encourage meaningful, life-changing conversations every day.
Students and staff came together to mark the occasion with activities including creating beaded accessories as well as food for the soul with our Year 12 VM PDS students making egg and bacon muffins, toasties and coffees. Most importantly, we connected, chatted, listened and supported one another, just as the day encourages us to do.
It’s a reminder to make time for each other, to look out for one another, and to keep the conversation going – not just today, but every day.
Welcome to the Chat Chair
The creation of our Chat Chair couldn’t have come at a better time, coinciding with R U OK? Day. This initiative gives our community a simple yet powerful way to pause, connect and have meaningful conversations, just as the day encourages us to do. The Chat Chair serves as a visible reminder that checking in on one another doesn’t have to be complicated, and taking a seat to share a chat can make a real difference to someone’s day. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, a story, or simply sitting together, we encourage all students to continue having chats and checking in with friends.
Small acts of kindness - make a big difference.
A huge thank you goes to Michael and John (pictured), our incredible maintenance duo, for their amazing skills and efforts in bringing the Chat Chair to life. We are so grateful for your work in creating something so meaningful.
ASHEfest Fun!
Several students from across our Primary and Secondary cohorts attended ASHEfest which was held last week over three days of jam-packed fun!
The Primary students took part in activities such as traditional games, face painting and arts and crafts while the Secondary students participated in the Buroinjin Challenge.
Congratulations to Year 9 student Rhys who got Best and Fairest in the Buroinjin Challenge!!

The concrete slab has been successfully poured, serving as the foundation for our new primary general learning spaces. This is a major step forward, bringing us one step closer to seeing our new space take shape!
You may start to see even more visible progress in the coming weeks—keep an eye out!
We will continue to share updates as the Stage 4A project moves forward!
