St Anne's Production
The St Anne's production of Aladdin was performed over three evenings last week and was a resounding success. One of the central themes of the production was self-discovery and staying true to oneself, which exemplifies the purpose of school productions. It was inspiring to see our students confidently expressing themselves on stage and sharing their talents with families, friends, and the wider St Anne's College community.
Such a production is the result of the dedication and hard work of many individuals. We extend our gratitude to Laura Bradbury, the director, for her exceptional preparation of the cast. Appreciation also goes to Sarah Baglin, Rohan Lelliot, Bek Ryan, and Amanda Borysiewicz for their commitment and efforts in practice and preparation. There was also a multitude of staff who volunteered their time to assist in a variety of ways.
And finally, congratulations to the talented cast for their hard work and dedication. Their performances were highly praised by all who attended. Bravo!
2026 School Captain Campaign
Congratulations to the students who delivered the college captain speeches to the student body this week. The quality of the speeches was outstanding, making the decision process for voting quite challenging. Student leadership is a vital aspect of our community at St. Anne's, and I look forward to announcing the college and house captains next term.
Hockey Success
Congratulations to our Grade 6 hockey team for competing in the state finals last week. They demonstrated strong competitiveness and, most importantly, represented St. Anne's with great integrity. Well done!
Gr 3/4 Ecosystem Expo
The Gr 3/4 students showcased highly creative and informative displays at the Ecosystem Expo this week. It was an excellent opportunity for students to share their learning. We appreciate the parents and carers who were able to attend and support the event.
Swimming Program
Our primary school swimming program was once again highly successful this week. Teaching children to swim and ensuring their water safety are essential, and it was rewarding to observe their enthusiastic participation in this important activity.
ASHEfest
It was a pleasure to see our Aboriginal students engaging enthusiastically in the Ashefest activities this week. This annual event provides students with opportunities to participate in a range of cultural and fun activities.
R U OK Day
Thank you to the students and staff who organised events for R U OK Day last week. It was a great way to emphasise the importance of supporting one another and fostering a caring community. Additionally, preparing hundreds of egg and bacon muffins was an impressive achievement. Congratulations to everyone involved.
