Our Faith Journey

Gospel Reading

Luke 16: 1-13

Jesus tells a parable about a dishonest steward who is commended for his prudence; one cannot serve both God and money.

  • How does this parable challenge the way we think about money, success, or security?
  • Jesus says, “You cannot serve both God and money.” What does it mean to “serve” money? What might that look like in our world today?
  • What choices might we have to make in our own lives if we decide to serve God rather than money?
  • How could the way we use our resources (time, money, talents) show what we truly value?

Pope Francis declared 2025 to be a Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church. Grade 5-6  students unpacked the significance of this Jubilee Year and understood the meaning and relevance to the year in the lives of all.

Students created a poster as a reminder of the things they can do during this year to gain  ideas for works of mercy and penance. Students can then reference that poster of the Jubilee Year to select daily ways they could participate and be pilgrims of Hope in the world, starting with the school community and their homes.

Wishing all Family members and Dear ones a Happy Onam!

May you all have a happy, peaceful and prosperous year ahead.

End of Term Prayer

Loving God,

As this term comes to a close, we thank You for the many blessings of learning, laughter, and friendship. We are grateful for the guidance of our teachers, the support of our families, and the courage and effort of every student.

Bless our rest and refreshment over the break and help us return with renewed energy, curiosity, and kindness. May we carry the lessons we have learned into our lives, and continue to grow in faith, hope, and love.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Inspired to Lead

I am excited to share that I will be participating in the Inspired to Lead program pilgrimage to the holy sites of Ireland on 20th September. Before embarking on this journey, I reach out to the school community to keep me in your prayers for safe travels and a meaningful pilgrimage. During the journey, I hope to witness God’s love, experience Christ in the Church, Sacraments, and Saints, and celebrate faith alongside fellow pilgrims.

I pray that this pilgrimage will help me grow in faith, hope, and love, and that the insights and experiences I gain will enrich our school community when I return. I will keep the school community in my prayers and wish you all happy holidays.

Warm regards,
