5/6 News 

This week, the Year 5s and 6s attended the Triennial exhibition at the NGV. Before attending, they explored the Triennial website to identify artists that interested them. This visit aligned with our upcoming unit of inquiry, How the world works. The unit inquires into advancements in technology, and explores connections between earth and space. 

The students did a fantastic job of interpreting the artworks and identifying the message that the artists were trying to convey. They were in absolute awe of some of the incredible exhibitions that they saw. One of the biggest highlights for the students was Heterobota (Robot Dogs). It was so interesting to see the connection between humans and machines.
