Youth Leadership Project

This year, The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation will be continuing to run their free Youth Leadership Project for young people in the West between the ages of 14 and 16.

The project offers unique opportunities for young people to build confidence, make new friends and develop skills that will enable them to become leaders in their community.

For more information and to register your interest in the project, please see the attached flyer and scan the QR code.

Raise Youth Mentoring Program

As part of Brookside’s partnership with Raise, we would like to help promote the organisation’s ongoing interest with seeking adult mentors in the community.

The Raise Foundation runs its Youth Mentoring Program across several schools in Australia and aims to empower young people to become more resilient, connected and hopeful for the future with the support of an adult mentor.

If you are interested in learning more about Raise and applying to become a volunteer mentor, please see the flyers attached and visit their website at raise.org.au.

To any of our Year 8 students who are keen to participate in the program as a mentee, please look forward to hearing more from the Wellbeing Team as we approach Term 2.
