Parent-Teacher Interviews

We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is best for our students. Research tell us that the most meaningful partnerships are those where schools, parents, and students work together to focus on student learning. Parent-teacher interviews are an important opportunity for you to meet with your child's teacher and discuss their progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

 

This year, Parent-teacher interviews will take place for students from Kindy to Year Six in Week 8 and Week 9 of Term One. To ensure that we are able to accommodate everyone, we kindly request that you book your preferred time slot using the Microsoft Bookings system. Bookings can be made here:

 

Please ensure that you select your child’s teacher when making a booking. If you select the wrong teacher, the booking will be cancelled. 

 

If you are unable to attend during the available interview times, please let your teacher know so that they can arrange an alternative time that is convenient for both you and the teacher. 

 

If you are unable to access the website to book your appointment, please contact your child’s teacher and they will be able to book the appointment for you. 

Swimming Trials

St Helena’s swimming trials will be taking place before school at Ellenbrook Stateswim on Wednesday 13th March from 7:00am - 8:00am. St Helena’s will be entering a swimming team in the Interschool Sports Program. It is NOT a compulsory event. Your child may only attend the swimming trials if they can competently swim 50m in the following stroke/s: 

  • Freestyle
  • Backstroke
  • Breaststroke and/or
  • Butterfly

Student Pick-Up Arrangements

We ask parents/caregivers to ensure that pick-up arrangements for their child/ren have been made prior to the end of the school day.  For the safety and wellbeing of all our students we ask that they are collected promptly and to allow time for school traffic.

 

Please remember that Kindy students finish at 2:30pm & Pre-Primary at 2:40pm and are to be collected from their classroom promptly by a person listed on their authorised list.

 

We ask that our families are mindful of not parking on our neighbours lawns or drive-ways.

Library Volunteer

If you have spare time to assist in covering some of our library books, please contact our Librarian, Christine Rocca on Tuesday's or Thursday's. You can pop into see her in the library after signing in at the office or she can be contacted via Admin on 9297 7500.

Book Club

Book Club has arrived! Look out for your copy of Book Club coming home in your child's schoolbag! It's packed with hundred of books from just $3 to help you on your child's reading journey.

P&F Welcome BBQ

We are looking forward to the P&F Welcome BBQ on Friday 8 March which was rescheduled from earlier in the year due to the weather.

 

If you have not already done so please RSVP and volunteer to help here.

 

Parking for this event will be able available on the bottom oval accessible via Bronzewing Avenue. We hope to see all our families there.
