Principal's News

Mr Rodrigues

Prayer for Understanding and Tolerance.

In a world filled with diversity and differences,

grant me the gift of understanding.

Kindle in me the flame of tolerance,

that I may approach others with an open heart

and a spirit of acceptance.

Amen

Dear Families,

We are now well and truly past the halfway mark of the term and heading into an exciting next few weeks. There is much going on behind the scenes in preparation for our 100 year celebration as well as our Easter celebrations. In this week's Parents and Friends page you will find important information about both of these community events. Volunteers are still required and help, before, during and after these events, will be greatly appreciated.

Family engagement is a very important component of any school community and research definitely shows that when parents are involved with the school it can have a positive impact on children. After the success of our Family Welcome Evening earlier this term I am sure that  Saturday March 23rd will be a wonderful school community event.

Assemblies

As those parents who are able to attend our Friday afternoon assemblies will know, we often find ourselves running out of time to get through all the items on our assembly agenda. Therefore from this Friday we will begin our assemblies from 2:35pm. We look forward to our students being able to celebrate their learning and achievements and to share their school news with you.

First Aid for Staff

This week all staff at Trinity completed their First Aid training as part of our ongoing commitment to child safety at Trinity. This first aid course included all areas of first aid with an extensive online component followed by a practical session designed to put our knowledge into practice.

Welcome Alana Bernardo

This week we welcomed another new member to our Learning Support Team, Alana Bernardo. Alana will mainly be working in our Prep area to ensure those students with additional learning needs are catered for in their learning.  I am sure you will all make her feel welcome as part of our school community.  We are extremely fortunate at Trinity to have such a great team of LSOs who support our teachers each day to meet the social and learning needs of all our children.

School Fees

Last week school fee statements were sent home and we certainly appreciate the timely payment of school fees. A reminder that if anyone has any questions or concerns in regard to the school fees that you can contact the office, email or come and see me to discuss.
