Staffing Update

With our Creating a Positive School Environment (CAPSE) program complete, we have most definitely 'hit the ground running' and are well into the hard work, routines and learning that will make 2025 a success.

I wanted to update parents and carers on a couple of staffing arrangements at Year 1 and Year 3.

1P will be taught on a Monday-Thursday each week by Prue Robbins. Each Friday, the class teacher will be Cath Sullivan. Cath is an excellent, highly experienced teacher who has worked at SKiPPS for over 15 years. Prue and Cath have worked closely together for a number of years and are both looking forward to teaching 1P each week this year.

3L will also benefit from two teachers this year. Louisa Di Pietro will teach the class each Tuesday - Friday and Jac Morphy, our Assistant Principal, will teach the class each Monday. Jac is excited to work with the Year 3 students again and to be a part of a great teaching team.

Parent & carer Information sessions

A reminder that next week teachers at each year level will run a 45-minute 'Parent & Carer Information' session after school. These sessions are a chance to come along to understand about the learning, routines and events for the year directly from the teachers and ask any questions that you may have.

Parent Teacher Interviews

Bookings are now open on Compass for Parent Teacher Interviews for students in Years 1-6. These are an opportunity to meet 1:1 with your child's teachers, to share any information that is important and to ask any questions specific to your child.  Interviews will be held in your child's classroom.

Whilst most interview slots will be on Wednesday 26th February, teachers will provide meeting times throughout the week to support all families to attend.

We ask that you try your best to attend these sessions to help us build a strong partnership between school and home - something that is essential for children to achieve their best.
