Sacred Heart Primary School Swimming Carnival
What an exciting day it was at the Sacred Heart Primary School Swimming Carnival! Students, teachers, and families gathered to celebrate a day of friendly competition, sportsmanship, and school spirit. The atmosphere was filled with cheers and high energy, as students showed their talent and determination in the pool. After a day of intense competition, Loreto House emerged as the overall winners of the carnival. Congratulations to the Loreto team for their outstanding performances across all events.
A special mention must be made of our House Captains, James Bray and Annabelle Buerckner, who led their respective teams with enthusiasm and pride. Their leadership was an integral part of the day's success, ensuring everything ran smoothly while keeping the energy levels high. In addition to the overall victory, we are proud to announce the Encouragement Award Winners, who displayed outstanding perseverance, team spirit, and sportsmanship throughout the day. These students showed that success isn't just about winning, but about demonstrating dedication and supporting their peers:

• Under 11 Boys: Danny Ryan & Fletcher Scott
• Under 12/13 Girls: Lily Leslie
• Under 12/13 Boys: Flynn Cox
Ironman/Ironwoman:Congratulation to Flynn and Abbi who took out the 2025 Ironman and Ironwoman events!
New Records Broken!
We are also excited to share that several students set new records during the carnival:
• Under 9/10 Boys: Angus Douglass – 50m Freestyle in 42.29
• Under 9/10 Girls: Billie Archibald – 50m Freestyle in 41.36
• Under 12/13 Boys: Flynn Cox – 50m Freestyle in 31.16
• Under 12/13 Boys: Flynn Cox – Breaststroke in 46.05
