Balancing Act in Grade 2

This week in Grade 2, students have been exploring mass through hands on investigations using measuring scales. We’ve been learning to choose suitable informal units of measurement and compare the masses of different objects. 

The students had lots of fun predicting, measuring, and discovering which items were heavier or lighter and had a great start to our new measurement unit!
