Inclusive Practices and Student Support
Our mission includes that we want to engage every child in a high-quality education... - and we take this seriously. It's clear in the work staff have done to strengthen Disability Inclusion acros the school. Teachers have refined IEPs, adusted supports and aligned goals to ensure that the learning in the classroom is meaningful and accessible for all students.
The partnerships between teachers, ES staff and both department and NDI-funded allied health professionals continues to be a real strength, helping students grow in confidence and independence. SSG meetings for Term 4 will open for booking shortly, giving families and staff the chance to reflect and plan on progress and plan for a successful transition into 2026.
Curriculum Day – Friday
A reminder that this Friday November 7th is a Curriculum Day and students are not required at school. While students enjoy a long weekend, teachers will be hard at work writing Semester 2 reports. The day gives staff the time to reflect on student growth, and capture their achievements across the year. Writing reports is a big task that takes a great deal of thought and care, and this day helps ensure each report accurately reflects the learning that’s taken place in every classroom. We look forward to sharing these with families later in the term.
