We’re now more than halfway through the term, and it’s amazing to think there are only 5 weeks left in the year. As we start turning our attention to planning for 2026, we want to ensure every student is set up for a positive and successful year. Just a reminder, if there’s anything you’d like us to consider when we begin creating classes, please email either Tania or myself by the end of the week. Your insights and perspectives are always appreciated as part of this important and calculated process.
New FNPS Website Coming!
We’re excited to share that our brand-new FNPS website will be launching soon! Recently, we had a professional team at the school capturing amazing photos and videos that showcase the wonderful learning, creativity, and community spirit that make FNPS so special. We can’t wait to share it with you. Please keep an eye on this space for updates as we get closer to the launch.
2026 Prep Transition
This Thursday is the first of our four Prep transition sessions, and we are so excited to welcome our 2026 Prep students onsite. It’s always a special moment seeing our newest learners begin their journey at FNPS, and we can’t wait to see them exploring, meeting new friends, and getting a taste of school life.
Prep and 1/2 Swimming Thank You!
As we enter the final week of Prep swimming, I want to say a huge thank you to all the helpers who have put their hand up to support both the Prep and Year 1/2 programs. These sessions simply wouldn’t be possible without people generously giving up their time in the middle of the day to help our students build their water safety skills. Your support is truly appreciated, and it makes an enormous difference to this important program.
End of the Connect Program
With recent updates from the Department of Education (“Parents To Save Money On Students’ Digital Devices”, we will be moving away from the BYOD Connect Program next year and instead ensuring we have enough devices at school for students to use when needed. This is an exciting shift for FNPS, and we’re pleased to share that a brand-new suite of laptops will be arriving for our Year 3/4 students at the beginning of next year. These updates will help us continue providing engaging, balanced and purposeful learning experiences for all students.
Safety Reminder
A quick reminder to all students and families to please walk your bikes and scooters when you are inside the school grounds before and after school. These are very busy times of the day, and walking your wheels helps keep everyone safe.
