Wellbeing - Senior School

On 16 October, the new Senior Class was fortunate enough to hear from entrepreneur Jonny Shannon during our Year Meeting, where he spoke on themes of ‘Grit and Vision’. Jonny shared his personal journey, including challenges he faced growing up with bullying and negative self-image, and how persistence and self-belief helped him to succeed. 

He emphasised the importance of having a clear vision for the future, encouraging us to create personal goals and achievable steps for future aspirations. Jonny also highlighted the value of surrounding ourselves with positive influences and maintaining balance in areas such as faith, family, friends, fun, and fitness. His inspiring and motivational talk has prepared the cohort to face the year ahead with confidence, determination, and a renewed vision for the future.
