Regional Basketball

On Monday, our Boys Basketball RED Team represented Overnewton at the Western Metropolitan Basketball Finals, held at Altona Basketball Stadium. The competition featured strong opposition, with the top team from each pool progressing to the final to determine qualification for the SSV State Basketball Championships.

The Overnewton team performed exceptionally well throughout the day, showing great teamwork, determination, and skill across their matches. Despite a strong start, the team narrowly lost their third game, finishing second in their pool overall.

This marks an impressive achievement for the Boys Basketball RED Team, who have now qualified for the Regional Finals for the fifth consecutive year, a testament to their consistency and effort. Congratulations to all players and coaches on another outstanding season.
