Year 11 Health and Human Development:
Glenarm Nursing Home Partnership
Over the past six months, Miss Ferrier's Year 11 Health and Human Development students have had the wonderful opportunity to visit Glenarm Nursing Home and build meaningful connections with the residents. Through regular visits, conversations, and shared activities, our students developed a genuine rapport and gained invaluable insights into the importance of empathy, communication and community.
On Tuesday, 28th October, marked the final session of this rewarding program. The residents shared their heartfelt words of wisdom and Glenarm kindly provided a delicious lunch for our students to celebrate the friendships and memories formed throughout the experience.
A huge thank you to Ange for her time, support, and organisation in making this program such a success - your efforts have truly made a difference for both our students and the Glenarm community.
We are so proud of our students for the respect, compassion, and maturity they’ve shown throughout this journey. We certainly will miss our visits.
