SCHOOL NEWS

2026 School Captains:
After a stringent selection process, which included interview, speech, student and staff vote, KTHS are proud to introduce the 2026 School Captains:
Thomas and Pranali - We are fortunate to have such strong student leaders as we look forward to 2026.
Hats off to our wonderful teachers!
World Teachers' Day, Friday, 31st October, is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the immense effort and dedication that our teachers put into their work.
Thank you!
YEAR 9 GEOGRAPHY FIELDWORK:
Students from 9A, 9B, and 9C attended Kerang Neighbourhood House as part of their Geography fieldwork on food security. During the visit, Melissa, Vanessa and Claire described the many roles and services provided to the local community and answered students’ questions. All classes were shown around the site and had an opportunity to practise fieldwork skills. Thank you to the staff at Kerang Neighbourhood House for helping to make the excursion successful.
VET AGRICULTURAL DEPT PRODUCE:
Our VET AG students, and Mrs Grills, are pleased to introduce a new product line in the produce section in the foyer of KTHS. Please, come check out the 'Pickled Beetroot' and we also have freshly laid eggs boxed up - $5 per dozen or $3 for half dozen.
ABSENCE NOTES REQUIRED:
Please send an absence note in with your student so these can be given to their
Year Level Co-ordinator, prior to 9am or similar early time if they are going to be leaving school at a certain time of the day.
We have had many students inform us they are leaving for whatever reason, at the last minute prior to signing out, butno note.
Please ensure you send a note. Sample below that you may use.
