What a busy six weeks of learning, we are half way through Term 4 and there are so many wonderful things happening in each year level and specialist area.
We have been fortunate enough to secure Sporting Schools funding this term - this is allowing us to have a coach from the McKinnon Basketball Association come and support Chris to deliver specialised Basketball skills and coaching. This will provide confidence to our students as they move into senior school and participate in Interschool sports Gala days.
We will also be able to purchase new basketballs for Junior and Senior school.

It is so great to see our students taking up the extra opportunities we are offering. Digi-maker coding, Chess Club, Karate Class, Cricket Blast. It was wonderful to see Khalid joining with the senior kids at Karate this week.

We have our final issue of Book club arriving in classrooms this week. Orders will be open until 28th November. Any orders placed in this issue will earn double bonus credits for the school.
Book Fair will be at school from the 24th of November until the 4th of December. We will have plenty of great summer reading options available. Cash / Card or online purchases are welcome.

During Term 3, some of our students completed the ICAS optional assessments. These tests are notoriously difficult - it is hard to achieve an award. The top 40% of participants receive a merit or above.
I want to congratulate our students on their efforts. We had a number of students achieve Merit, Credit and even Distinction certificates. These will be presented at assembly on November 18th.
