2026 Foundation Orientation

On Tuesday, we welcomed our 2026 Foundation students for their Orientation Morning. They met their teachers for next year and explored their new classrooms. The students were excited to see who will be in their grade and start getting to know their teacher.

We are proud of how well our new students settled in and look forward to seeing them on their first day of school—Wednesday, 4th February 2026. Before then, each child will attend a short testing session with their teacher. Families have already received their time via a letter and email.

If you have a child starting Foundation next year, it’s not too late to enrol! Please visit the office to collect an enrolment pack—we’d love to meet you before the end of the year.

Celebrating Our Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

On Tuesday afternoon, our teachers came together to share their celebrations from this year’s Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). PLCs are small teams of teachers who work collaboratively to improve student learning. They meet regularly to share ideas, review student progress, and plan strategies that help every child succeed.

This celebration was a chance to reflect on the incredible work our teachers have done throughout the year. Their commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement ensures that every student receives the best possible education.

In 2025, our PLCs focused strongly on Phonics and Writing, two essential areas for building strong literacy skills. Teachers have worked tirelessly to collect and analyse student data, using this information to tailor their teaching to meet individual learning needs. This ongoing effort shows just how dedicated our staff are to supporting every child’s growth and success.

PLCs help create consistent, high-quality learning experiences across all classrooms. When teachers work together, students benefit from shared expertise and strategies that make learning more effective and engaging.
