Grade 2 Frog Hotels

Frog Hotels in Grade 2
As part of our current Unit of Inquiry, Sharing the Planet, the Grade 2 students have been exploring how living things depend on habitats to meet their needs. This week, students had the exciting opportunity to design and create their very own Frog Hotels!
With Toby’s wonderful guidance, the Grade 2 cohort embraced the challenge of building a habitat that might entice frogs to make their home at Wales Street Primary School. Using plastic pipes, rocks, pebbles, and plenty of imagination, students worked collaboratively to construct inviting spaces that frogs would love to explore.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were proud of their creative and thoughtful designs.
A big thank you to Toby for sharing her expertise with Grade 2 and for organising all the materials needed for this hands-on learning experience.
Now we wait for the frogs!
