It has been an incredibly busy and rewarding period for the Applecross SHS Tennis Program across Term 4, with our students achieving outstanding results both on and off the court.

This term marked the end of the journey for our Year 12 tennis students. We congratulate them on their efforts and contributions over their years in the program and wish them all the best for their next chapter.

We were incredibly proud to have three students selected to represent Western Australia in the Bruce Cup team this year. This achievement reflects their hard work, dedication, and high level of play.

In Week 6, we held our annual Tennis Program Awards Night, celebrating another successful year for our program. It was a fantastic evening where students, families, and staff came together to acknowledge individual and team achievements throughout 2025.

A major highlight of Term 4 was sending six boys and six girls to Traralgon, Victoria, to represent Applecross SHS at the Gallipoli Youth Cup School Nationals. Our players displayed outstanding tennis, excellent sportsmanship, and represented the school with pride all week. The boys team finished in 5th place and were awarded the Sportsmanship Award, while the girls team placed 7th. A huge congratulations to all players involved.

We will finish the year with our Social Doubles competition this Thursday - a fun and relaxed way to wrap up a big year of tennis.
