Learning Enhancement

Celebrating a Year of fun, Growth and Success!

As we reflect on 2025, we are proud to celebrate an incredible year of learning and achievement at our school. This year marked the successful implementation of Magnify Sandhurst; an initiative focused on explicit instruction, calm classrooms, and consistent routines. These changes have enhanced teaching practices within our school, created calm environments where every child can thrive, and reduced the cognitive load so student focus can be where it needs to be.

As we are concluding the year and reflecting on the growth that our children have made, the teachers are proudly sharing stories of learning and excitement experienced by the students. The results are not only anecdotal, after just twelve months of implementation, we’ve seen remarkable growth in our reading and numeracy data, with early assessments showing significant improvement across all year levels. This progress is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teachers, students, and families working together to support learning.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue building on this momentum, with the implementation of more explicitly taught writing in the junior years, and spelling in Year 3 and 4. Some of our staff have already been involved in professional development to ensure a flying start into 2026.

Our commitment remains strong, to provide high-quality instruction and a nurturing environment where every student can reach their full potential and of course have some fun along the way.

Thank you to our entire school community for making this year so successful. We wish you a very safe and Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing everyone ready for another year of learning in 2026.

We’ve managed to get back most of our library books, thank you! Unfortunately, there are still 19 books missing. It’s not too late to return them! Please keep looking over the holidays and bring them back when school resumes next year.

Merry Christmas and Happy reading.
