Congratulations to our Girls Basketball Team who played their Round 3 match against Cooerwull Public School this week. Unfortunately, the girls went down in a really tough battle, against a very good Cooerwull side. Well done to all the girls on a great effort and having fun. Thank you to Mrs Francis for coaching the team. We are all extremely proud of you all.

Congratulations to our Ten Pin Bowling Team who have recently been selected and are now training with Ms Hall. Well done to Oliver Baldwin, Liam Roberts and Tadhg Hart. We know these children will be amazing at the Regional Ten Pin Bowling competition.

🗣️ Share, Speak, Shine – A New Way to Celebrate Our School Community

We’re excited to introduce “Share, Speak, Shine”, a new project at BPS designed to highlight the amazing achievements of our students and staff, while strengthening connections with our families and wider community.

Through this initiative, we aim to:

  • Celebrate student achievements and excellence in teaching, helping to build pride and engagement across our school.
  • Empower our social-emotional HPGE students by involving them in interviewing peers and sharing stories across the school.
  • Foster stronger relationships with families and our broader community by sharing the many highlights of learning and success happening every day at BPS.

We’re proud to share that our first project is already underway! In celebration of Public Education next week, we’ll be releasing a series of short video clips that capture the voices of our students — sharing what makes learning at BPS meaningful and memorable.

Stay tuned — we can’t wait to share these special moments with you.

Thank you to the parents who have registered their child to participate in the ICAS assessments this year. These assessments provide students with an opportunity to challenge themselves across a range of subjects. Please find below the Bathurst Public School schedule for the upcoming ICAS assessments:
