Senior School Music Scholarship Applications Now Open
Applications for this scholarship are now open to students who will be in Years 9 to 11 in 2026. Music Scholarships are offered to students who demonstrate outstanding musicianship and the ability to make an ongoing, strong and varied contribution to the musical life of the School.
A Music Scholarship provides a 25% reduction in tuition fees only. All scholarships are tenable throughout the student’s enrolment time.

Year 9 Aquatics Program in PE
In the first six weeks of Term 3, Year 9 students will participate in Swim Fit and Save as part of their PE program. In this program students will gain an appreciation for the need to build on their swimming fitness and gain some skills so they can actively perform a water rescue. All students will participate in four water based sessions across the six week program. This is a compulsory part of the Australian Curriculum.
For this program students will need to bring the following:
- Swimmers
- Goggles
- Towel
- Swimming cap (compulsory)
- Rash vest / t-shirt (optional)
- Optional poolside footwear (eg thongs/Crocs)
Students are encouraged to organise their gear so they are ready for the program next term.
Wind, Brass and Percussion Concert - Save The Date!
Thursday 31 July
Our Wind, Brass and Percussion Concert features ensembles from Years 5 to 12 and demonstrates the progression of students through our music ensemble program. More information coming soon.
Entry is free and all are welcome to attend.
Year 11 & 12 TCE Exams
Years 11 and 12 TCE exams start soon, Monday 4 -13 August. An email was sent to families from Joe Cairns (TCE Coordinator) regarding the August mid-year exams. Please check that you have read the information carefully. It is recommended that students start preparation for exams.

Year 9 Subject Selection Info Night - Save the Date!
Tuesday the 29 July - 7pm
Next term, students in Year 9 will be making their subject choices for 2026. As part of this process, there will be a Subject Selection evening held in The Farrall Centre from 7.00pm on Tuesday the 29 July. On the 30 July, students and parents will be emailed details on how to choose their subjects via Web Preferences, and will also receive a link to the 2026 Year 9 and 10 Coursebook. Subject choices will be due on Monday 11 August.
Term 2 Holiday Planner
The Term 2 holiday planner is now accessible to Years 11/12 students. The planner provides information on study techniques, strategies, key links to additional resources as well as a study planner.

Studiosity Services
More and more students are using our Studiosity service for assignment work and independent study after hours. In this way, we are supporting students to receive instant feedback and guidance from a professional whenever they encounter difficulties.
Students should ensure they have set up their free Studiosity account at studiosity.com/access or via the SEQTA splash page.
