Principal's News

Dear Families and Friends of Trinity Primary School,
Welcome back to all our families for what will be another action packed and I am sure exciting Term 3. A big highlight of course will be our bi-ennial Art Show which will be held in Week 9 with an evening opening on Tuesday 16th follwed by two full days of viewing on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Monday morning we welcomed back all our children with our first Monday morning gathering for the term led by our senior students. Last term I regularly reminded our children about their uniform requirements and it is so great to see such a big improvement in this area with almost 100% of children in perfect school uniform. As I spoke to the children aout our expectations for this term I put out a new challenge for all children to be arriving at school on time which means, before the bell at 8:45am. It is great if children can have some time before the morning bell to socialize with their friends and to then be ready for their learning once inside their classrooms. I have also reminded children that they should enter through the Kent Street gate and leave this way as well. It has become increasingly busy at the front office both before and after school making it difficult for office staff to keep track of children coming and going. Could I please ask again that we make a special effort this term to only enter via the front office after 8:45am or leave after 3:30pm. Thanks in advance.
