New Timetables for Semester 2

As we welcome back our students for term three, its been fantastic to see the enthusiasm and positivity students have shown in adjusting to their new timetables for semester two. A new semester provides opportunities to experience new subjects, try new things and learn new skills. We encourage students to embrace these challenges, and see them as an opportunity for growth before moving to middle school in 2026. All subject changes have now been completed, and semester two classes finalised.

2026 Subject Selection

On 13 August Year 8 students and families completed their 2026 subject selection process. It was wonderful to hear students discussing their plans for next year, and possible career pathways into the future. Moving into middle school is an exciting time, with many students taking opportunities to apply for VCE acceleration subjects, Peak Performance and continue their journey in AFL or Basketball academy. If you have any queries about your child’s 2026 subjects or pathway, please don't hesitate to contact the Year 8 Team via SEQTA or by phoning the school on 5381 7100.

Year 8’s Celebrate!

At the end of term two, we took the opportunity to reward the many students who had excellent attendance and semester two academic results. Students who received an interim report score of 4.0 or above and had 90% attendance or greater for the semester were treated to a hot chocolate and Tim Tam at recess in the last week of term. It was great to see over 90 students achieve this reward!

In addition, a select group of students who achieved an interim report score of 4.0 or above, 90% attendance AND zero behavior notes for the term were treated to an afternoon of fun bowling at Lans and Games. These students consistently demonstrate our college values of Care, Character, Collaboration and Commitment. They thoroughly deserved their reward!
