Level 3 Camp ADANAC
On Monday 9th of September our Level 3 students boarded a bus with luggage and sleeping bags, headed for camp ADANAC, located in Yarra Junction.
Students participated in a variety of activities in the beautiful outdoor camp setting to build teamwork, self-esteem and confidence. Whilst working collaboratively in a variety of new ways, students worked to improve their resilience and independence.
Activities included the flying fox, archery, canoeing, the low ropes course, the photo hunt and the giant water slide. Qualified camp supervisors, along with the Rangeview staff and our fabulous parent parent helpers, provided a safe and supportive environment for our students. Thank you to everyone involved in making this camp such an amazing experience for students.
Foundation Teddy Bear Picnic
On Wednesday 11th September, our Foundation students had a wonderful time at their Teddy Bears' Picnic. Thank you to the Foundation teachers for organising this fantastic event for the students.
Level 5 and 6 City Walk Excursion
On Monday 16th September, students in Level 5 and 6 participated in the City Walk excursion, a long-standing tradition at Rangeview Primary School.
Leading up to the event, students worked in their designated groups to research locations they would like to visit and collaboratively planned an itinerary. On the day, students and accompanying parents travelled to and from the city using public transport, departing from and returning to Heatherdale Station, learning about the effective use of the transport system.
Once in the city, students navigated through the Melbourne CBD, discovering significant landmarks and enhancing their skills in mapping and navigation. As in previous years, teachers prepared the famous scavenger hunt for sights around the city. This was a highlight for our students.
A huge thank you to our Level 5 and 6 teachers for organising the event. Thank you to our wonderful volunteer parents for taking the time to accompany students on the day. We could not run such a fabulous event without you!
Thank You for a Fantastic Term 3
