Today is a great day to be you!
As you are all very aware, our amazing School Fair is quickly creeping up on us - Sunday October 20th.
In order to have our school grounds in the best possible condition, we are running a 'pre-Fair' working bee - and we would love to see this one being our best-attended working bee yet!
The working bee will be held on Sunday October 13th from 9:00am-12:00pm.
If you are able to give up even just an hour or two to help us beautify the school before we open up the gates to thousands of visitors the following week, we would really appreciate it!
As previously communicated, we have had to reschedule our highly-anticipated TRP Digital Wellbeing Evening.
This event is now running on Monday October 28th from 6:30pm-7:30pm (child-minding will be offered from 6:15pm-7:45pm).
Please remember to re-register for this event using the new registration form - please see the flyer attached for an updated QR Code. We are very sorry for the inconvenience of rescheduling, however we are very hopeful of a huge attendance to take away some great practical tips to try at home.
Whilst the information will be relevant to all ages, we would especially encourage parents and carers of our Year 3-6 students to come along as research shows these are the ages (9-12) where most online concerns or challenges begin to surface.
Across Term 4, ParentZone (run by Anglicare Victoria) is offering a range of different programs to support parents and carers.
These include:
Online Programs (Page 4 of Newsletter):
In-Person Programs (Page 5 of Newsletter):
Disability Support Programs for Parents:
ParentZone also provides a Podcast series, with episodes focusing on topics such as:
The ParentZone newsletter contains a ton of other information and resources that might benefit our families. Please find the full newsletter attached here.
What a great morning to wrap up Term 3! We had what must have been a record number of students participating in the billy cart races and it was great to see the high majority of our students get into the spirit of the footy finals by wearing their team colours (Go Cats!). Thankfully the weather was kind to us and the morning ran as smoothly as it possibly could.
A huge thank you to all the staff (and parents) who assisted in any way this morning - it was so great seeing all the smiles on the faces of the students competing and in the crowd cheering their friends on. Well done Rangeview!
I hope you all have a restful and relaxing break over the next two weeks and we can't wait to welcome all the students back on Monday October 7th for the final term of the year!
