This week, the 9/10s faced a crucial match, needing a win to keep their finals hopes alive. Southern River struck early, putting Mazza behind 1-0. However, our team showed resilience and determination, managing to equalize in the last quarter. In a nail-biting finish, Mazza scored a decisive goal in the final minutes, securing a thrilling victory. The supporters' nerves were shattered by the end, but the win kept our finals dreams alive! Well done, team!
Our 11/12s team dominated the game against Peel with a 7-1 victory.

The 7/8s team had a bye.
9/10s team
Our 9/10s team delivered an impressive 3-1 victory against Hale, moving them into a solid second place in their division. Fantastic work, team!
Our 11/12s team dominated their match against Melville with a 6-1 win.

Well done to Mazenod Hockey! Every one of our teams playing this season is on track to make it to the finals. This is an incredible achievement, especially for our small club with only three teams—one in each year group. It’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our players, coaches, managers and supportive parent body. A huge congratulations to Mazenod Hockey!

We are excited to announce our upcoming Curtin Uni/Mazenod Hockey Club windup event on Saturday, 19 October at Perth Hockey Stadium from 10 am to 2 pm.
The day will be filled with fun activities, including:
Formal presentations in the Eastman Lounge.
Boys versus parents games on PHS.
A delicious BBQ lunch for all attendees.
It's a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate our achievements, and enjoy some friendly competition. We hope to see you all there! Year 12s, we understand that this event coincides with your Valedictory Day. Unfortunately, we couldn't reschedule it, as the Perth Hockey Stadium is fully booked. We still hope to see all of you there, even if it's just for a quick appearance!
