Superhero Day Success at Belmont High School!

We are thrilled to announce that Superhero Day at Belmont High School was a fantastic success, raising an impressive $991 for Muscular Dystrophy Australia! A huge thank you to all students and staff who participated and supported this important cause.

Students embraced the spirit of the day, dressing up as their favourite superheroes or personal heroes. The enthusiasm and creativity shown were incredible, with many students proudly showcasing their role models, from well-known superheroes to beloved athletes and other figures of inspiration.

Special recognition goes to the Year 12 Silver House captains, who did an outstanding job representing the school and speaking with local newspaper outlets. Their leadership and passion helped highlight the importance of Superhero Week and the great cause behind it.

A highlight of the day was Zac Soutar’s visit, where he brought his race car to the school. Zac’s personal connection to motorsport and his advocacy for Muscular Dystrophy Australia resonated with the students, sparking meaningful discussions about MDA and the importance of supporting young Australians with muscular disabilities.

Thank you again to everyone for making Superhero Day a memorable and impactful event!
