Principal Report
As we approach the end of Term 3, I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge all the tremendous work that has occurred across our school community. Our students have continued to demonstrate their commitment to our core values of respect, opportunity, and resilience, embodying these qualities in every aspect of their learning and engagement. Through their dedication, they have truly lived up to our school motto, Strive for the Highest, setting a strong example for their peers and making us all proud.
I would particularly like to acknowledge our Year 12 students who will not be sitting exams and will complete their journey at Belmont High at the end of this term. They have been a credit to our school, showing exceptional commitment and leadership. As they move on to their next adventures, we wish them all the best and remind them that the door at Belmont High will always remain open to them.

R U OK Day
I would like to extend a big thank you to all the students and staff for getting behind R U OK Day on Thursday, 12th September. This important initiative shines a light on the need for all of us to regularly check in on our friends and those around us. The highlight of the day was our annual staff vs. student basketball game, which brought the school community together in a fun and meaningful way.
I'd also like to acknowledge the incredible work of our wellbeing team, who play a vital role in creating an inclusive environment at Belmont High. A prime example of their efforts is the amazing Breakfast Club, which has grown significantly and become a true meeting place for both staff and students on Thursday mornings. It’s a testament to the positive connections we continue to build as a community
House Music Competition
I’d like to acknowledge the incredible energy and talent on display at our school music competition on Friday, 30th August. This event is truly unique to Belmont High, offering a platform for a wide range of students to showcase their musical abilities. After two years of domination from Purple House, it was Mango House’s turn to shine, with a fantastic Creedence-inspired rendition of ‘Fortunate Son’ that rocked the gym and captured the win this year.
Lost Property
Lost property is located at the second-hand uniform shop, open Friday mornings
8.30am-9.30am
Final Day of Term 3
