Safety Reminder

Visitor Protocols

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone at our school, we would like to remind everyone of the importance of our visitor protocols. These procedures are designed to ensure that our school remains a secure and welcoming space for everyone.

Visitor Check-In Procedures:

  1. Main Office Check-In: All visitors, including parents, guardians, and any other non-staff individuals, must check in at the main office upon arrival (not required if picking up or dropping off your child during school hours). This step is crucial for maintaining an accurate record of who is on site for emergency purposes.
  2. Visitor Badge: After checking in, visitors will receive a visitor lanyard. This lanyard must be worn visibly at all times while on school grounds. It helps staff and students identify authorized visitors.
  3. Sign-Out: Before leaving the school, visitors must return to the main office to sign out and return their visitor lanyard. This helps us keep track of all visitors who have been at the school throughout the day and ensures an accurate reflection of who is on site at any given time.

Why This Matters:

  • Security: Checking in and wearing a lanyard allows us to monitor who is at the school and ensures that everyone is accounted for in case of an emergency.
  • Safety: It helps prevent unauthorized access to school facilities, keeping our environment safe for students and staff.
  • Community: It reinforces a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining necessary security measures.

We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to keeping our school a safe place for learning and growth. If you have any questions or need further information about our visitor protocols, please feel free to contact the main office.
