Jam Junction Evening

On Wednesday, August 28, the school community gathered for our much-anticipated annual secondary music showcase, Jam Junction. The night was a spectacular display of talent, passion, and musical diversity, leaving the audience thoroughly impressed and inspired.

Featuring performances from students in the Instrumental Music Program, as well as the Year 9/10 Music Elective and VET Music students, the event showcased a range of genres from the 1970s right up to contemporary hits. In addition to the scheduled performers, several other musical students took to the stage, adding to the rich variety of the evening.

Each performance was of the highest calibre, demonstrating the dedication and hard work of the students. Whether it was a soulful ballad, an upbeat rock tune, or a funky number, the skill on display was truly remarkable. The evening culminated in a memorable performance of Harry Connick Jr.'s I Could Only Whisper Your Name, where the instrumental teachers took to the stage to perform, much to the delight of the packed house.

Despite the cold and windy weather, the audience was lively and engaged throughout the night. A special thank you goes out to the students for their dedication, and to the parents for their unwavering support. Your contributions made Jam Junction an unforgettable experience for everyone.
