Community Care and Connection

GSPV Dad's 'Coffee Appreciation Night'

GSPV Dad's and male role models, we are having another event to connect you with other Dads in the community, and to continue building friendships that you may already have.

Expect to leave a coffee snob, Brett will endeavour to show his love of coffee and teach you everything from roasting beans, tasting different styles of coffees, and much more.

You don't have to like coffee to come and enjoy a night with the boys, so don't be shy, bring a friend and we will see you there.

Date: Tomorrow evening Friday 13th Sept.

Time: 7pm- 9pm ish

Location: GSPV Ark. Follow the veranda past the reception classrooms next to the oval and follow the building around into the ARK (Where OSHC is usually held)

RSPV: Wed 11th of September Matt - 0418836454

Cost: $0

What to bring: cool drinks (beers etc are fine).

Some light nibbles will also be provided on the night.

This event is hosted by Mila Coffee Co.

The Deaf Festival

Presented by our friends at The Deaf Butterfly Effect, the Deaf Festival is coming to Adelaide! This festival has been held across Australia and now its Adelaide’s turn.

The aim is to celebrate and share Deaf culture, language, and community. Throughout the festival local Deaf businesses and artisans will be showcased and there will be a variety of engaging events for all ages, such as workshops, Auslan storytelling, a petting zoo, children’s performances and more!

It will be a great opportunity for the children in our school community to engage with the Deaf community and share the conversational skills they have been learning in our specialist AUSLAN lessons.

Coffee and Connect

What did you think of the Showcase last week? Has your child been focusing on today’s Entrepreneurial Enterprise Market day? How are your little ones feeling about tonight’s Tea and Teddies evening? Today is R U OK day... Are you OK?

If you have a few minutes (or a lot of minutes) and you feel like meeting some people or reuniting with old friends, you are most welcome to pop into the Church Café tomorrow morning (Friday) 8.30-10.00 am and share some tea/coffee and conversation!

Why not invite someone along this week? You never know how you might change someone’s day (for the better) just by turning up and having a chat!

Please enter via the courtyard. Toddlers are welcome (there is a small playground for them to play in; we just ask that you keep an eye on them for safety reasons)

KAPS

We’re going on a scavenger hunt! Come and join the fun...  September 22nd from 4pm. Pop it in your diaries now!
