From Kale, Mark and Ben, Physical Education Specialists

District Basketball 

On Friday the 6th, NMPS took 19 students to compete in the Ascot Vale District Basketball Tournament in Keilor Stadium.

Both the boys and girls teams played a total of 5 games throughout the day with some many great games being played.

The boys finished 4th with 4 wins and 1 loss.

Our girls team came 6th with 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses.

With a total of 12 teams in the District tournament, both teams performed very well!

Most of all we are proud of your camaraderie, effort and sportsmanship.

Thank you to all students for a fun day and especially to the staff and parents that came to assist and to cheer on our teams.

Division Athletics 

Last Tuesday, 11 of our students represented the school at Division Athletics. With excellent results and personal bests, all students competed extremely well and represented our school with great pride. Congratulations to Jaz and Anton who have progressed through to the Regional event next term.

House Athletics Year Level Champions 

Congratulations to Blue House for winning the 2024 NMPS House Athletics Carnival. They are the inaugural winners of our new House Athletics Shield.

We are also pleased to announce the winners of our new House Athletics Champions for 2024, an award that recognises the outstanding results of our students in Athletics each year.
