These texture rubbings were created with crayon with added a watercolour overlay.  They then used the papers to create a collage.

Year 2

Experimenting with space and form has been explored in these  paper sculptures.

To welcome spring we have been discussing and viewing a variety of works by Rachel Newling. She is a Sydney based artist who creates linocuts of Australian flowers and vibrant pastel drawing of birds. 

Year 3 & 4

Students have been drawing Australian birds. We looked closely at a variety of Australian birds and discussed their features. Students worked very hard on proportion and blending  with chalk pastel.

Year 6

Students have been working on their painting techniques, experimenting with a variety of brushes and seeing what kind of marks they can create. After some experimenting students focused on painting Australian natives including gum leaves,  bottle brushes, Banksia, Waratah and many more!
