SEVEN’S CINNAMON SCROLLS

There was a wonderful aroma in the kitchen. 7F was making their cinnamon scrolls. They all turned out perfect and beautiful however they didn’t just come out looking like that. The ingredients needed were milk, flour, eggs, caster sugar, and most importantly, cinnamon. We combined the milk, flour, eggs, butter and caster sugar into the largest bowl we could find and kneaded them all together, Miss Tulloch describes the action of kneading like riding a horse or revving up a motorcycle.

After we kneaded the dough, we sprinkle flour on the bench and rolled it all out. Then we mixed the cinnamon and the brown sugar in a small bowl and spread it across the dough evenly. We then added small dots of butter along the dough, rolled it up and put it in the trays. After we complete that step, we put it in the oven at 180 degrees. We left it there for about half an hour while we washed and dried our filthy dishes. Although the dishes took forever, it was worth the comforting sweet bliss.
