Looking at Trinity’s Sustainability Goals
Today Ms Belinda met with Pia Wrafter from ResourceSmart Schools, to discuss Trinity’s progress. We are aiming to minimise waste, save energy and water, promote biodiversity, and take action on climate change to benefit both our school and wider community.
Pia was really impressed with the work we have done and actions we have taken so far. Through the ResourceSmart Schools program, we are working towards embedding sustainability in everything we do. We are excited to keep working together in Term 2.
Well done, Compost Ninjas
Well done to our Compost Ninja team who collect our food scraps every day and feed them to the worms. By doing this, we save so much waste from going to landfill, helping to reduce methane gas, and therefore global warming. It is so good to know we are doing such a good job of saving our food scraps and turning them into great compost for our gardens!
Have a great break everyone! Thanks for your great efforts in helping us live in a way that is kinder to our environment!
