Wellbeing & Culture

Welcoming all students and staff back to school after the holidays. This week is a bit of a “soft start” back to school, with only 3 days of school attendance. For some students, this will be a nice, gradual introduction after fun-filled school holidays. For others, the smaller start might feel like more of a struggle.
With another long weekend shaking up the school week we would like to share some tips on how to prepare for term 2 being back in full swing.
1) Transition back to school days routine
2) Set a sleep schedule
3) Talk about school returning and discuss any questions
4) Encourage students to look forward to their favourite parts of school.
5) Make checklists so nothing is forgotten at home.
Having an action plan to ease back into school helps transitioning at each holiday period.
Again, welcome back to school. Term 2 will be filled with learning, fun and wellness for all students, families and staff.
