This is the last newsletter for Term 1! It is hard to believe that we are at the end of the first term of the year.

Purim Celebration

Last week, Rohan and I had the pleasure of attending the Purim celebrations hosted by UJEB. The event was filled with energy as people gathered to celebrate this joyful occasion. Children wore a variety of colourful costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to connect with others, gain a deeper understanding of the cultural importance of Purim, and join in the collective joy of the celebration. I’m truly grateful for the invitation and the chance to be a part of such a lively community event.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

This week’s parent-teacher interviews provided a great opportunity to see so many parents connecting with their children’s teachers. These meetings are essential for strengthening the partnership between parents and educators, ensuring that students receive the necessary support to thrive. They offer a valuable opportunity for open discussions about a child’s progress, challenges, and achievements, allowing us to work together in supporting their development. I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank the teachers for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Your efforts are truly appreciated, and I am also grateful to the parents for taking the time to meet with the teachers and actively participate in this important process.

Student Safety

Student safety is always a top priority, and we encourage parents to be extra mindful of electric cars around schools. Due to their quiet operation, these vehicles can be harder for pedestrians to hear approaching, so it's important to stay vigilant and ensure children are aware of their surroundings when walking near traffic.

Please see below some more safety tips on how to drop off and pick up children safely.
