Strengthening our brand as we step into the future

Marketing & Communications Director, Mark Jansen has completed an audit of his department's role within First National and has emerged with insights that will influence the network’s future direction.

A comprehensive brand audit is currently being completed through a third party market research firm, the results of which will help determine what actions are needed to ensure the brand and our marketing activity is aligned with our clients and the current real estate market.

Additionally, following the results of the member survey, the Marketing and Communications team will be taking the following actions to ensure greater levels of consistency for First National brand application, as follows:

  • First National’s brand guidelines require revision - With the input of the designers at the National Support Office (NSO), the style guide has been reviewed, broken down, and then reshaped to better outline the new and improved brand direction.
  • A marketing asset cleanup is needed (both in Canva and FN Central)
  • Communication improvements concerning brand standards are needed to keep the brand tight

Furthermore, the marketing team will commence a rather large piece of work around modernising and updating the First National core brand. While this project is a major part of tightening and reinforcing the First National Real Estate brand image, it will be a lengthy process and will require a level of attention that cannot be compromised. More details will be communicated soon about this major project for the wider business.

With the national Brand Reference Group now in place, we’ll keep you informed of progress.
