Dion shares some good news

On 4 September St Anne's supported my professional development by sponsoring a Medium Rigid bus licence, so I can now hire a 22 seater bus for Outdoor Ed camps and excursions. I am really grateful for how supportive the school was in this.

The training day went well. I had previously read through the handbook and I passed the written test with no issues, then we spent the rest of the morning practising in the truck around Shepparton (I'm sure many of you have been nearly side-swiped by the Learner Drivers going down the Midland Highway!). The driving test lasted about an hour and we had no issues, other than coming very close to stalling on the hill start. The trainers were very friendly and the application process through Wodonga Tafe was fairly straightforward.

I would encourage anyone who wants to up-skill themselves to seek out the Logistics Coordinator and training and development team with your proposals.
