ENPS House Team Shirt Launch!

It is with tremendous excitement and pride that we invite our community to attend the official launch of our Essendon North Primary School, House Team Shirts. Over the past 18 months, our ENPS students, Marrung Team and staff have been collaborating with Narungga/ Kaurnaand Trawoolwaway artist, Daen Sansbury-Smith to design our school house team uniforms for Biik (Earth), Baan (Water), Wiin (Fire) and Gurrin (Wind).

Please see the below invitation to attend our official launch on Friday 13th September from 2:20pm. The launch will include a very special and Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony conducted by Wurundjeri Elder Perry Wandin. A number of VIPs will be joining us for this very special event.

The shirts are on sale now in store and online at PSW, however are not to be worn until the day of the launch (everyone is welcome to wear their house team polo shirts this Friday!). All students will be sitting in their house teams for the special assembly.

For students who do not have the new shirt, they can wear their house team colours by wearing a plain red, green, yellow or blue shirt or regular uniform instead on the day.

From Friday 13th September, students will be able to wear their house team shirts on the allocated PE specialist day for their class, or on our house team event days. The house team shirts will now become our in school PE uniform. For all offsite excursions, students will wear our regular uniform unless specifically for a house team event (school swimming/athletics/cross country etc). Our ENPS Dress Code will be updated to reflect our new uniforms.

Your child’s allocated house team can be found on Compass in your child’s profile. All siblings and family members are in the same team. If you are unsure, please ask your child‘s home group teacher or contact the office.

Shirts are available in child and adult sizes, and staff, parents and carers are very welcome to join in and wear our house team shirts too!
