Grade 3 & 4 

Students have been learning about what life was like for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples before their first contact with European explorers and their long connection to the Country. 

We have also through mentor text explored the "The First Fleet by Alan Broadman and Roland Harvey", "The Unlikely Story of Bennelong and Phillip by Michael Sedunary"  and "What's your story? by Rose Gianno" investigating Australia's discovery, convict transportation, first exploration, and settlement. 

Grade three students will bring home camp notes today that need to be filled out and returned ASAP to their child's classroom teacher.
