Walk Safely to School Day

On Friday 10th May, a large group of students, teachers, parents and one cute puppy braved the wet conditions to participate in Walk Safely to School Day. Royalty, a Viking, a tiger and Mario also decided to get a little extra exercise by walking to school.
Everyone met at St Johns Park Oval before starting the walk. The 1km trek meant crossing a couple of very busy roads. Everyone was careful to follow the road rules of looking left and right before crossing as well as using the pedestrian crossings located on Melbourne Road and Sandringham Street.
This event continues to grow each year.
