Congratulations to...
Kai Humphrey (12 Millward)
Kai is currently filming a local documentary for the North Central Catchment Management Authority.
The premise of the documentary is to get Gen Z off technology and experience the world around them. The short film will be used for educational purposes including teaching young people about the misunderstood Bendigo Creek system and the 'real life' opportunities available in their own backyard.
Kai is travelling by kayak and on foot along the Bendigo Creek system (150km) from Kangaroo Flat to Gunbower while completing challenges with his fellow participant, a 22-year-old nursing student from Melbourne. They have been interviewed by ABC Radio and WIN News over the last few days and met up with several schools along the way.
For updates on their journey, see the North Central CMA social pages. Congratulations Kai and we can't wait to see the finished product!
