WEEK 5: KEY INFORMATION 


LAST WEEK

Students completed their academic trackers and set SMART goals for Term 2. I would encourage you to discuss these goals with your child and explore pathways that lead to success. 


THIS WEEK

As we enter the midpoint of the term, students must be setting themselves up for success with their upcoming assessment. Establishing routines and organisation are key factors to that success and the student diary is an effective tool to assist students with this.

LOOKING AHEAD 

Week 5

Friday, 17 May: Collective Shout

All Year 9 students will participate in an informative and engaging presentation by special guest presenters: Melinda Tankard Reist and Daniel Principe. 

 

This session is designed specifically for young men and women and will be delivered in a unique gender-specific environment. 

 

DISCUSSION TOPICS INCLUDE:

1. Rescripting the Narrative; championing boys to become good men

2: Challenging Sexualisation; supporting young women to 'shout-out' sexualisation
